Fast short circuit protection and dual element, time delay performance provide ultimate protection
Item Features 02
Insulated end caps reduces exposure to live parts and extends air gap to distance between blades of adjacent mounted fuses or to housing
Item Features 03
Current limitation protects downstream components against damaging thermal and magnetic effects of short circuit currents
Item Features 04
Reduces existing fuse inventory by up to 33% when upgrading to Low-Peak™ fuses
Item Features 05
Consistent 2:1 ampacity ratios for all Low-Peak™ fuses make selective co-ordination easy
Item Features 06
Time delay permits 130% FLA sizing for back-up motor protection
Item Features 07
Inventory consolidation of class RK1/RK5/H fuses for reduced SKU investment and minimizing potential for misapplying fuse
Item Features 08
Separate overload and short circuit elements provide time delay for close sizing of high inrush loads linked with RK1 current-limitation and selective co-ordination ratio of 2:1 (within Low-Peak™ fuse family) helps prevent widespread blackouts
Item Features 09
Protects against 1 ph motor damage
Item Features 10
Proper sizing can provide "no damage" type 2 co-ordinated protection for NEMA and IEC motor controllers
